Hot Glass Works agrees to provide all necessary (LP) propane gas in 20 gallon bottles on site for this event. Hot Glass Works provides equipment built to (NFPA) National Fire Protection Agency standards and maintains state and federal safety codes for electric and fuel consumption. Provisions for setup require the propane cylinder to be removed from the trailer and be placed approximately 20 feet from the equipment. Other propane requiring artisans also apply to this code. An industrial certified hose pipes the propane to the equipment that is multi-regulated and security valved. The electricity required to operate motor driven fans requires no more than twenty amperes (20A) of 110V service. Hot Glass Works will provide an electric extension of fifty feet if necessary.
Crowd partitioning can be provided by Hot Glass Works or can be constructed to meet safety and decorative standards. Natural barriers like fences, parking posts and walls, and landscaping must be considered, but can also be utilized.
Hot Glass Works must begin set-up procedures four hours prior to the need for the first demonstration to enable the furnace to reach glass melting temperature.
Hot Glass works reserves the decision of operation during unfavorable weather.
In order to cover scheduling costs a deposit of $200 is due two week prior to event date, $100 nonrefundable if cancellation occurs less than 72 hrs prior.
Overnight lodging will be factored into considered for extended mileage events. Annealing service will allow proper cooling of the works and must be accommodated until cool overnight. Mileage allowance must also be considered at $0.55 per mile.
Thank you for your interest in acquiring Hot Glass Works’ services. We hope your event will be a success and anticipate our involvement.
